What have you done to your DEFENDER today?

it’s been a bunch of little things, a couple copper washer massively over-torqued, way too much orange RTV used to the point of almost blocking a coolant passage, some sketchy fastener choices, and too much Eastwood fake gold cad spray paint. Stuff like that. I kept uncovering stuff but I didn’t want to do a complete teardown right now.
Good luck figuring it out. That is one massive fan clutch. What is the brand?

Installed a new set of Melvill and Moon seat covers this weekend.

i love those, I have a set of grey ones. They do fade, but it’s more of a character fade than a wear fade. I really want to get the deluxe version with leather piping and the slide patch for my 110.

After 8 years I finally got some rear seats in my crew cab.
Wanted something that allowed me to have a set of speakers behind the rear seats.
These are Disco 2 jump seats I had fabricated to fit on the original brackets.
Seem to be just as usable as the 60/40 that came in the truck.

My wife can't stand the noise in my Defender and keeps bugging me to get a 2020 Defender instead so here I come to resolve this.

Oh man is she going to be pissed at you or she rides that thing after you do all this work that is just as fucking loud lol. No really it'll definitely help cut down on the tininess.

When you go on long trips I now keep these two items in the truck and she is much happier.

The gerbings keeps her warm , and active noise canceling headphones keeps her relaxed.
