hi everyone,

New to tread here. This project like all of yours has been a labor of love with my 4 boys. I learned a lot from friends and I?ve gained the confidence to venture into the mechanical aspects recently. This is very different from my day job so I am loving it. Three of my favorite additions to make the truck suitable for North America have to be the two webastos ( Top C & AirTop ) .... it gets cold up here !! & the Global RoamerDrive.

Cheers,

Crazy Canuck !

Nice.

Seems like you are doing a lot to your truck. Might want to start a full on build thread for just your truck.

Did you or are your going to Dynamat the hood? I am considering it but that is way down on my list of priorities.

What kind of car is the charcuterie plate sitting on?

I helped out Crazy Canuck last summer with a few things when he picked up his truck here in Vancouver and drove it back to Edmonton.

Amazing job. You need to take a bit of a road trip back out this summer for a visit!

Welcome to the forum! Great to see you here.

CDN38,

Hey Scott thanks for all your help over the past year with guidance. I love the RoamerDrive you and Rovalution helped me with ... it is awesome for the wide open country out here in the prairie / Rocky Mountains

Having beaten the stalling blues last week, treated myself.... my truck to a new steering wheel logo.

A little while back I installed this shifter extension.
Back in 2004 I had a Rovertym 2" body lift on my Classic.
That truck is long gone, but I saved the LT shifter extension. It works great on the NAS '97 because it used to sit too low in the auto console!

I replaced the leaking cam and crank seal on my 300Tdi. I also swapped in a new timing belt, tensioner, case gasket, fan belt and fan belt tensioner. The old seals were a major PITA to get out.

I love the ox cover. I wish they would make the minor changes to the D60 manual Locker that they sell to make it work with the Salsbury.
Who knows maybe we could even work without much modification

I agree. The cover i found on sale with free shipping at a great price compared to others on the market and is definitely way tougher than OEM, mine died from rust.

The OX cover is heavy duty and comes with new hardware and gives another option of a drain point and two fill points.

I am about to install a soft top on my 110. At its present state it has a custom folding top that I need to uninstall.

What is the best way to remove rivets? I have drilled them out before but that can get to be a little but of a pain if when breaking drill bits.

Drill bit the the obly way to go really. Get some good 3/16 bits keep the speed at medium and don't lean on it
