Pretty interesting door tops. Love to see more!

Thanks. I am thinking of getting a All Wheel Trim hoop set so that I can have rear side windows and updated canvas as the current setup is showing its age. It is nice to have a foldable top but sometimes it limits the amount of crap I can haul to the beach. Will try my hardest to make the current windows work or at the very least modify them to work.

After much frustration.....trying to track a short down in my directional circuit, the biggest suspect has turned into the turn signal stalk itself. I hate to throw money at something when I can't quite 100% convince myself its the cause of the problem, but I'm outta ideas. Part ordered from Zachnorth.

Changed my gearbox oil today. First time i did it myself. Did not see a copper crush ring so figured it was lost over the years.

After getting everything buttoned up and put away found the crush ring in the bottom of the drain pan. It will bug me if I don't do it right. So tomorrow i get to do it again. I bet i can do it faster the second time around.

Just think of it as a double flush.

Drivers side Garrison sliding window rattle kit and new alpine window seal. No more gunked up sliding windows, no more rattle.

Doing the passenger side this weekend.

You should write up all the tips and tricks for getting those alpine seals in....just sayin'. :D

Woah woah woah woah. Is that a rear carrier that doesn't require attachment to the rear door? Does it rest on that silver piece to the left of and below the door? Would this work on my tailgate truck? Where can I get this?

Damn. I thought you had found the holy grail. I wonder if Bearmach would do one without powdercoating for me. I need to remove the door attachment part and fab an extension that attaches to a rest on the other side of the tailgate. Do we know anyone who works there?

UPDATE
That did not go well at all. I thought i could take a peice of cardboard and block the drain hole while putting the crush ring back on the drain plug.

Everything was going to plan until trying to put the drain plug back in. The fluid was gushing out and running off the plug down my arm into my armpit and onto my chest.

While being upside down, backward and in a state of slight panic i could not remember which way was lefty loosy or righty tighty

Once all the fluid drained out it became much easier.

I have never changed a diaper but at least now i can relate when watching comedies of people trying to do such disgusting things.

Spent the entire week doing work on the buggie. Installed a rear spare tire carrier, had the wheel wells and sill rails galvanized, installed a SDO aluminum 3 gauge panel to replace the mud pod I had and a new set of shoes, BFG AT K02 265/75R16. Took apart the entire front end and painted the inner wings body color, black crackle finish on the radiator mounts and front grille top plate. Finally washed it with dish soap to remove any old wax/grease/dirt and oil, clay bared and hit it with some wax.
