warnings sticker on '94 NAS D90

I've owned the Arles Blue for several years and keep it at a vacation place. Until this day, I've never noticed the warning sticker. I assume it is original and came on all, or at least the '94 trucks? Anyone else noticed on theirs?

Mine was on the back of the cubby box when I got it (20 years ago — 94 like yours). I don’t know that I have ever seen one on the dash, but maybe that is where it was supposed to be and people removed them or because you have the fast back top it went on the dash or the PO took mine off the dash and onto the cubby or the guy at the port/factory/dealer slapped one whereever he wanted.

on the '97, mine is on the visor. Looks like there is a recessed spot for it.
Just saw sticker doesn't say Defender anymore.

Still rockin’ the Tickford…that’s awesome!

Also just realized that the Tickford can fold back as shown. I always wondered what the extra straps were for.

I had a low mile (under 8k if you can believe it) 94 I bought in the 90’s from a retired guy that learned he could not flat tow it behind his RV. Mine was where yours is and my top folded back as well. Do you have a bar that runs along the inside of the sides of the tub connecting the rear and forward roll bar posts? That’s a early 94 feature too.

Wait, you can flat tow a 94 D90. T-case in neutral, transmission in neutral is I think what is recommended.

Totally geeking out here, but those ended with about #820... I had #841 (Arles) and it no longer had them. I always thought they offered a degree of additional side impact for rear passengers. Cost cutting, I suppose.

My '95 SW (Arles) was flat towed behind a friend's RV for the first 6,000 of 10,000 miles, which I got from him in 1996, replacing the ST. I never had any trouble with the driveline and sold in 2002 at about 68,000 miles. FWIW.

I’ve heard this too but that was his story at the time. I’ve also heard it’s not recommended without disconnecting the drive shafts. That was a great truck but the ST just isn’t as versatile as a SW, IMO, so I sold it and bought a POE and paid off my student loans.
