WANTED!
A set of 285/75R16 tires from the UK in the style of Simex Trekker or Insa Turbo Special Track. We have all seen these and thought they belong on some sort of tractor. Well you aren't wrong, on road they suck a fat one. But I have a potential project happening now and if I can locate a set of these quickly it will be really fun.
Now, I don't HAVE to have this size exactly. I'd be willing to pick up a set of 265/75 if that's all that I can find. Maybe even 245/75... also... doesn't have to be simex or insa turbo. I know there are 2 or 3 UK companies who remould similar treads also. In this stage of the project I have some generous discretion but need to act fast. If it comes to it I may even have to use some regular "peasant" tires like Interco.
Anyhow, if you or a friend has been hoarding a set of these hideous things that was on a ROW import Defender, please get in touch with me ASAP. Thanks
