Round handle, and you pull it towards you to move it (vs. pushing the lever to side). What's different in the td5 version?
If you have the old school vent levers that you push to the side to adjust, do you need to swap out more hardware to use these aluminum knobs?Round handle, and you pull it towards you to move it (vs. pushing the lever to side).

I’ve had both, but I can’t recall the TD5 setup. I think the lever apparatus for the TD5 is different (the metal is notched on both sides of the pull?).If you have the old school vent levers that you push to the side to adjust, do you need to swap out more hardware to use these aluminum knobs?
I guess something in a different style pull. Trying to clean up the dash area a bit and it’s one of the few remaining things that’s a mess. It looks like a broken knob “post” is all that’s thereOP…what do you mean by upgrade options? Are you looking for a different style pull, or something other than plastic?
That’s the question I’m hoping to get answered. Can I just unscrew the VENT lever end and use one of the round ones. I don’t want to risk snapping anything without knowingIs the post just threaded on the end where the knob/pull attaches?
If so, I’d think you could find a threaded billet round knob on the web? Maybe I’m being too optimistic though…
Anybody know if Series Defender makes these knobs?
So will that end piece screw off?The stock one is AIT710030 and will look a lot better than a bare metal post. There are fancy aluminum ones too if that's the style you want.
