Caster corrected? How can a rear axle have caster?

When a truck is lifted past a certain point, it causes issues with the axle U-joints being pushed too far out of alignment. The caster angle becomes too small. These caster correcting links help fix the angle that the drive shaft has to try to make. This is a common issue with rigidly attached axles and links.

There is no caster angle on a non steering axle. Caster is the angle of the steering axis from vertical.

You are referring to pinion angle.
