Thank you so much Scott! I got my panel today and this is one of the best packing jobs I have seen!

I will be dropping it off at my builder Bishop and Rook Monday and will post some pics here after it is installed.

Couldn’t agree more. Got mine a week or two ago. Very well packaged such that there was negligible chance of damage. I am not ready to install it yet as I have the whole headliner to recover first (with the material I also bought from Scott which is perfectly matched to OEM material). But that said, the speaker panel looks incredible. Very well made, upholstery is exceptional and the lights and wiring look first rate. Will update with pictures once I install it.

Finally found the time to unwrap and install my speaker panel today. The packaging is simply incredible and very protective. The quality of the panel and instructions is simply second to none, really outstanding in all respects. However, the problem I have is that my 90 was originally a van body and does not have the mount brackets for the original rear panel trim. I know I’m not the only guy to have to deal with this, anyone have any suggestions?

Did you find a solution? I had a client that riveted in the brackets to the inside of his roof to hold the panel. Factory ones are spot welded.

There hasn’t been a mod that I can recall doing that I haven’t made myself, so last night when CDN38 reached out if I was going to join this batch (as I’ve debated for years), I had to really think about it. Although we have never met, we joined the other site about the same a month apart some 20 years ago— so we do have at least a sense of each other’s character —and for me, that goes a long way. Quality was never the issue—just take a look. But if you’re on the fence, maybe the fact that your hard earned money goes to a good guy rather than just some corp will sway the deal. Finally in the queue!

As follow up, for others reference, from Scott: “The panel gives you 2 1/4” depth, and if I remember correctly there’s also about an inch in the actual roof behind the seam the panel mounts on. So minimum 3 1/4”

This seems to give plenty of depth for the quality options that exist to me.
