transfer case leak behind parking brake.

I have and had a transfer case leak for a long while. Seems to not drip a lot stationary, but after driving it drips a bit and obviously get flung around on the drive shaft. The breather is cleared out and its not coming from the bottom of the transfer case but rear and ending up on the parking brake.
How involved is this repair? I'm kinda tired of the truck smelling like gear oil.....

Looks like the rear output oil seal. Maybe mixed in with brake shoe dirt and grime. It’s not particularly hard, pulling the drive shaft is the worst part.

take the shaft off and pull the drum and you will know pretty quickly. Everything is probably covered in oil. Brake cleaner, oil seal and a new felt washer will fix you up. Make sure the surface the seal rides on is burr free and does not have a groove. If it does, you can try sanding it smooth again or use a Speedi Sleeve to fix it.

I'ma cheap ass so for these brakes I'd probably wipe them down then use a heat gun or torch to sweat the oil out.

That being said I converted a long time back to a disk brake.

It's easy to replace, mine would get hot and leak on longer highway runs, got tired of the smell and film.
