So I'm moving down to Texas not quite everything will probably fit on the inside of my 110. I the small u-haul trailer, but I foresee that there is going to be drama and issues from u-haul, because the truck is ROW etc etc. Are there any other companies that would be easy to rent from?

With a 200tdi and LT77 50A gear box, I don't see any issues towing, right? I know it wont be fast.

U-haul trailer is 850lbs (4x8)
Un-braked trailer weight for a 110 is a conservative 1655lbs
GVWR 6504 lbs and Curb is 4530 lbs so available payload is 1,974 lbs.

I did the opposite to save my sanity . Loaded the 110 on a car transporter and towed it with a small box truck. Did this for 3800 miles and everything was perfect.

I pulled car trailers with 110's on them behind a properly tuned 200 tdi 110 for years.

trailer did have electric brakes....

Stay in the right lane because severe upgrades will require 1st gear!
Luckily going south from Charlottesville (besides Afton mountain) to Texas isn't too bad except for a little bit of grade in Tennessee and then its pretty much downhill from there.

Some of those grades on 81 are significant. Came to the realization that with 6+ mos of work stacked up, and shop expansion plans, we have no time to build another camping trailer this year so hanging onto the sankey for now.
