Towing D1

May be adopting a D1 project in the near future and it will need to be towed home most likely on a dolly. Should the rear drive shaft be removed for towing?

Make sure you put the nuts back on the parking brake while the shaft is out....

Thanks guys, have the tool & 10-4 on the brake drum end. May end up having to go the trailer route, truck has rear locker and apparently it's stuck locked so probably not a good tow candidate.
