Tool recommendations- swivel to axle

Hi All,

I sheered a bolt connecting the swivel to axle. It’s a PITA accessing these bolts. I’ve been using a wrench and hammer.

Is there a low profile air rachet or other tool that could make it simpler?

Thanks

I'm going to give this a try next time: https://www.amazon.com/Motion-Pro-08-0134-Torque-Adapter/dp/B000WJGXF0

The major tool suppliers also offer 14mm torque adapters.

I just use a box end extra long wrench, tedious but works

So the path forward is to use a wrench and then switch to a ratcheting wrench after you get the bolt broken free. Nothing with a ratchet is going to fit.

But be careful with a ratcheting wrench because they can get stuck against the swivel ball. You want to back the bolts off each a little bit at a time

Oh, I know, @jymmiejamz why do you think I have so many sets of ratcheting wrenches? I can now put one on each bolt and jam them in and not run out. ;)

In all seriousness, I have found it is best to get them out to where you can still get the wrench out and do that all the way around and then try to separate from the axle housing. How far that is depends on your ratcheting wrench.
