Those bolsters are clutch. I just attempted to remove some floor bolts that were basically blobs of rust. The wera pz's also have a nice 10mm bolster that im confident is the only reason they came out.

Speaking of tool deals.

I went to Harbor Freight on Sunday to buy a new creeper and the lady told me they no longer do the 20% coupon.

HF will, on occasion, do 10% off everything coupons. But 20% is just on things that are on sale and not coupons.

I do think the Wera PZ with hex and lasertip are worth the high cost, at least for #2 and #3. Whether they are worth getting separately from the chiseldriver set (which is what I recommend if you need a set of screwdrivers as it is ~$70 on .de and comes 1-3 PH, 1-3 PZ, T20, T25, and lots of slotted and what Frank has) that’s really up to you. I can’t talk as I have purchased 100s of screwdrivers this year (I have some witte and Stahlwille impact with hex coming and with those I think I will have pretty much every German screwdriver currently made although Felo has now come out with an ergonic impact screwdriver it’s not available on discount yet and stickers at $20 a stick!).

The gearwrench set (my first set had red handles, I will compare when the yellow handles arrive but I believe they are the same) was the only PZ screwdrivers I had for years and they worked and work fine. For $18 they are a perfect starter or throw in the truck set. They are just not as tight fitting as a Wera (or witte or felo).

But good screwdrivers are key. I can’t say I have been disappointed with any that I have bought (except maybe the mayhew and some of the foreign made klein multi ones) but even the mayhew are much nicer than craftsman/generic and the slotted are excellent prybar/beater screwdrivers.

Chad's Toolbox typically has the best always-on deals on German tools. Twin Grips are priced at $33.75 and they price match.

Chad’s got me my first set (they sell on Amazon as uberlagen and are asking $70 via Amazon) which I have been using. But on the Chad’s website they are $33.74 and available only for preorder. The issue is no free shipping until $100.

Typically the best price on German tools is Amazon.de. But twingrips have not been released in Germany yet. Looks like they will be about $25 in Germany at discounters so if you want to wait and pay shipping, that will be the low cost provider.

I don’t really care where you get them (I have a set from Chad’s, two including the comfortgrip coming from KC, and one from Amazon), but they are extremely useful. Like cobras level useful.

PS I ordered the Klein bottle opener set off woot a few days ago. I don’t drink beer but I do drunk wiring (wild turkey 101 and VDE tools).
