I like the HF box. It’s not quite as nice as my snap on, but it’s quality.

Here are some pics from the adventure in getting it home and into the garage. (They are also on my Instagram @ptstouring )

not a deal but i just bought one of these. great for suspension work and the adjustable is very high quality

i really just needed a spike/spud as i lost my old one and doing front radius arms without it is annoying .
I blame you, but I ordered a 16in one. It came down to the Klein and a western forge one from Harry Epstein both at $60. I went with the latter (same price). I always wanted one of these but I never knew what I would use it for, but that never stopped me.

Amazon global has the 2020 Hazet advent calendar for $70 (free shipping) It has 12 bits, some Allen keys, a case, a bottle opener, a magnetic extension, and a ratcheting screwdriver (which is the rolo patent like the Gedore silent gear).

Not sure anyone actually cares, but it’s nice apparently — I don’t have it … yet. I am trying to be good since I have the Gedore silent gear (two of them) so please buy them all up before I order one ….

I'd be down for figuring out a group purchase of the 2021's in the fall.

Usually they don’t get inexpensive until after the holiday. The best deals are usually Wera and Stahlwille.

If you like the original channellocks, on sale on the jungle website is the three piece set (6.5, 9.5, 12in) with a free 6 in 1 or $37

I quite like the 6 in 1. It’s USA made and seems stronger than the Klein 5 in 1. It’s my kitchen drawer screwdriver and has held up well so far. My favorite 6 in 1 for sure (better than Wiha too). While I am on it, I have never seen a 6 in 1 with pozidriv which seems like an opportunity for some manufacturer. 6 in 1 seems to be a US thing. The euros all have swappable bits not sure why.

The channellock code blue 6 in 1 is apparently chinesium crap so don’t get that one.

Lesbian tool porn ….

I rather like the Gedore side cutters. Have not used them a ton, but they are the ones I grab first when I need to cut something. @WreckITFrank is not as big of a fan (he is a Klein guy and thinks the Gedore flop open too easily which is what I prefer). Not as easy to clean the grips as the smooth dipped on Klein/channellock/Knipex/Gedore smooth dipped ones but whatever. I live with the dirt/oil for $15.

I have yet to cut anything, but appreciate the feel of them. Good weight and the action feels smooth and well machined.

KCTool sold out of blue handle 142-10 pliers so is offering the red dipped ones for the same $20. They also are offering 15 percent off all Gedore with Gedore15 coupon code.
