Oddly, not even forum administrators can see who voted for what. All I see are the vote counts like you guys do.
So far, the winner appears to be NAS-ROW. The site got dozens of sign-ups within a couple of hours last night after the D90 Source thread went up. If anyone talks to Jonesy, please thank him for me.

Yes we added a bunch of members but the community gets damaged when people attempt to fracture it like what just happened. Nobody won in my opinion.
I wish Shayne and his friends well and encourage them to start their own forum so that they can run it and behave as they see fit.

This is a Joke... Brian was an ass but Chris as an owner/site head should have been a lot more mature... Chris just wants a pat on the back, these guys are helping people on a daily bases... Shipping parts at no cost, helping out stranded meme era and going out of the way for what the true Meaning of a community is... Not standing over someone's shoulder shaking their finger like a bs haul monitor...

The strange part of all of this is that Shayne is permanently banned from the other site! Yet people are complaining and bewildered why he is not welcome here. He has made his bed multiple times over. It is very hard to get banned. You have to try.
Nothing against Brian but generally a very bad idea for someone trying to be a vendor to behave so unprofessionally in a public space amongst his potential customers.

WTH is this all about? For those of us not in the know. I thought this site was "open" and "non-moderated"? Why would a thread be deleted or someone banned? Just wondering.
We're not "non-moderated" and NAS-ROW isn't 4chan. We have some basic rules, read post #1 in this thread. In general, I think you'll find this place to be less-moderated than Defender Source but maybe a little more moderated than DiscoWeb. We are trying to take aspects of both boards to create the right culture for this place.

I think most of us would rather not re-hash it. Sorry. I'm sure we'll see all/most of those guys back here eventually. People just need to cool off.
