Superwinch Husky 10 winch - new/old stock (brand new)

Brand new, just removed from the box, never mounted or even unwound, Superwinch Husky 10. I impulse bought this because, look at it, but have decided to rebuild my old worn out Husky 10 instead.

Is it approved for synthetic line? Newer ones are, older ones aren't. Risk crushing the drum with synthetic line if it's not built for it.

I have been running my Husky Superwinch with Synthetic since 2004... No issues at all. The drum does not get hot.

I think it’s still a good deal at the current price. Best winch ever made and there won’t be any more. Like 8.25 XZLs, it is one of the required components of the perfect Defender 110. I hope mine lasts forever.

I haven’t had any problems getting parts I’ve needed. Replaced the motor and solenoids on one to convert from 24v to 12v. Also was able to find two red handle aluminum remotes
