I just climb in loosen the nut so it cant come off and break my nose and flex the wheel/steering column a little, they pop right off in my hands. Pretty amazing how much these wheels flex.

Equipped with a 22mm socket, this is exactly what I did:

There is a universal puller at most autoparts places that has the correct bolts for the steering wheel.
