Steering column electrical switches base assembly

Replaced my upper & lower shroud on my steering column recently. The steering wheel would rub the new shroud assembly in turns, so I took it all apart to see if it can be adjusted & found the plastic tab that tightens the "switches base" has broke off. I can't find a part # to order. I'm including the page from my parts catalog that shows it, but the labeling identifies every part, except the base that holds it all. What do I call this & anyone know the part #? 1986 110.

Okay. I posted too soon. Figured it out. The entire base assembly is part #PRC3875 (#8 on the diagram). I guess if the indicator/horn/dip switch was a separate part, like my brain was telling me, it would be drawn away from the "base assembly" like the rest of the parts. Duh.

that breaks 100% of the time, every time. I tried every method possible and it simply wont hold. only option is to get another lucas that will likely break again before it fails.

I was able to bodge a repair with tie wraps… it lasted a year or so until I finally broke down and replaced it.
good luck
