I got some Mud UK side mirrors and I can’t seem to tighten them enough. Tried to add some gorilla tape to the mounting ball to get the bracket to tighten up but every time I get on the highway they blow down to where I can’t use them. Is there a difference in the mounting arm for an ex-MOD truck that may be causing the problem? The old MOD mirrors had a much different mounting bracket.

I put the same mirrors on my 90 Ex Mod a couple of weeks ago. Was the same fit and mounting hardware, a little wrestling to get them on and tightened them down with an Allen wrench....no issues since. Better field of view and can actually see vehicles sneaking up on me from behind.

Had same problem. Went away when I installed my new arms and tightened the shit out of the bolt.

Same issue here, I need to see what I can tighten down as it drives me crazy.
