Santana and Series 3.0 GM 4 Cylinder Engine Conversion

Have been building GM 3.0 Liter 4 cylinder engines for the Land Rover Series IIA and III, since 1994.
They are based on the Mercruiser 140, but require different, pistons, head, manifolds, cam, pulleys, thermostat housing, motor mounts, alternator mount, and so on.
It took several tries to get the cam "spot on", but the engine came in about 132 HP, starts easy and runs smooth.

Up until now we only offered these as a replacement for the 109 6 cylinder engines, but now fit all the 4 cylinder vehicles because of the new oil filter adapter I designed.
For many years have wanted to manufacture an oil filter adapter to reposition the oil filter so this engine would bolt into a series Land Rover series or Santana that originally left the factory with a 4 cylinder engine, but always had other projects taking up my time.
So after 26 years finally made it happen.
With a successful prototype in use, the machinist has started on a production run of these adapters.

Pictures of the adapter mounted to the engine that is installed in a Santana 109.
The same engine will fit all the IIA and Series III Land Rovers that were manufactured in England as well.
