Pulled trim & was relieved to see a pillar mount bracket. Had to drill out a couple rivets in my sliding window frame to remove the angle that the trim snaps into (it was in the way of the ratchet assembly). I have new seat belts ordered & now I know how they're going to go . Thanks for the help!
New seat belts are installed. The front seat belt ratchet covers were super tight to assemble & I removed the plastic snap on dust cover that came on the seat belts to get them to fit. I also had to squeeze the metal cover with big channel locks to get the short bolts to grab, but they work as designed.
Looks good. You can get another one of those plastic bolt covers for the bolt that attaches the cage to the b-pillar if you want to finish that part off a bit more. Rover did that on the NAS 110s.
I'm thinking my seat belts aren't original. Looks good.
By the way, I cut each of the foam tubes I bought into 1/3 sections, and they work really well over each head, and on each longitudinal bar in the back seat. Good buy.
