Ad said 1982 cabron but he was shooting from his hip.Doesn't that add have a few Red Flags?
1972 Landrover Defender
No title but it is tagged
Originally he had it listed as a 1972 DefenderAd said 1982 cabron but he was shooting from his hip.
He changed it cabron... I literally copy pasted it.Ad said 1982 cabron but he was shooting from his hip.
I never said he was scamming anyone... just the facts that it had red flags.Fellow very quickly sent 10 additional pics- 5 mins from request. He had listed it in his personal name on facebook, not his company so not sure where that comment is coming from. No scam here. He has nothing to hide and quickly responded.
He bought it on a bill of sale from a friend in Ga who'd had it for 10 yrs.
He's looking to sell it on the same way. He has it tagged and insured. I dont know Ga law and didnt ask further knowing many states will issue tags but not titles for antique vehicles.
We would have been buying it for its identity so as out of state buyers the lack of a title, and his lack of willingness to pursue getting one kills it. Presumably he can get a title for it but @ additional hassle and expense and intent was to pay less than his ask. Could be a great deal for someone else willing to pursue a title. Several New England states would roll with an accurate bill of sale & with a VIN verification form done by a law enforcement officer.
