Thanks for the confirmation. From what I read the solenoid is supposed to prevent the TC from shifting bewteen HI & LO while at speed, basically locks the TC shifter. When it fails it is apparently in the locked position, can't shift the TC from HI to LO or vica-versa.Not entirely sure that's how the failure presents itself, but I pulled mine out of the '94 ages ago
Seal up the cover with some RTV and Bob's yer uncle.
