Looks like Recaro is releasing the same seat that goes into a defender here in the US for off road vehicles in 2020.

Looks like nice seats. Was thinking about seats yesterday driving Landy 90 miles back from my daughter's.

After a bit more research .... it looks like creating a removable base is just drilling a couple of holes and using ball end bolts with receiver cups .... all i need to know is do the seats come in a heated version!
