Rear window pane replacement

One of my side windows (just one of the sliding glass panes) in my 90 was broken (by a rock thrown by a weed eater) and I need to replace it.

Is it possible to replace the broken pane without removing the whole assembly, or do I have to replace the whole assembly?

As far as I know, you need to remove the window assembly from the vehicle (just drill out the rivets). It would be a good time to install the garrison outfitters replacement window felt kit. Look up their videos on YouTube and you can see how to take the window apart even if you don’t replace the felt.

Now is the time to rebuilt it since you will have it taken apart. It is also a great time to get the glass tinted while it is out.
