I'm getting ready for summer. I've removed the radiator and taken it to a radiator shop, which is now saying the core has to be replaced. They want a lot of money to do so.
I see aftermarket replacement radiators as low as $205 from bearmach and other UK vendors. I've ordered a few times from bearmach. the last order has been an ordeal to say the least / terrible customer service. I'm trying to avoid purchasing from them. I've contacted RoversNorth, but they don't have the radiator in stock and it wouldn't be in country until early may.
For ESR76, bearmach stocks the standard radiator and a heavy duty one. Does anyone have any experience with the heavy duty one? I live in Houston, so 9 months of the year it is hot. I would prefer the heavy duty one.

I've sent them a message asking what the actual difference is. Their product descriptions are minimal at best.
Anyone with a 3.5L V8 have any experience with Bearmach radiators? My search only turned up the plastic ones are terrible.
