R380 Stumpy Fitting Questions

I know this has been covered, but still have some confusion around some parts. Installing low mileage Ashcroft Stumpy but unsure of certain parts that might be needed. This is going in a 1992, 110, w/ a 200tdi.

1. Is there value in the LR version of the UTJ100210 bearing over any of the aftermarket, there is a large difference in price
2. What slave cylinder do I use? LT77 or R380, is TRW the OEM cast?
3. The linkage I have is the U channel version, but looks different than what is needed from the pics. Can anyone confirm this is what I need? If so anyone have one?

4. Anyone have a source for the dowel pins for the flywheel, I want to get it surfaced first so these need to come out
5. shorter pushrod? Do I need to find a 65mm pushrod or should that be what I have?
6. Any changes to teh reverse light switch?
7. Any issues with Britrest fork and this setup?
8. Any other recommendations.

TIA.

1. No I use aftermarket
2.lt77 , I believe the trw is cast . You can ask Trevor @ rovahfarm he has them and the dowels
3.you need the one pictured and the bushings, special eyelet bolt and nut.
4. Trevor
5. Same pushrod lt77 from your old trans
6. Yes wiring connector is different and it Ina different spot
7. I actually didn't like the bit rest fork with this setup and I have one laying around brand new if you want to use it. Frankly it would have worked I just didn't really understand the geometry when it was on the bench.
8. Might as well swap over to the dorman master while you're at it.

Also change the flywheel bushing and pad slippers on the clutch fork.

Thanks @Napalm00 . I have a britrest fork so will give that a go. I'll figure which slave is cast, and see what Trevor has in stock. The eyebolt for that linkage is crazy money. I'll look around for that as well. The lof clutch kit and britrest fork have most of the small parts. Dowty rear main and BoB pan gaskets at the same time.

the eyebolt comes with the linkage if you buy it from ashcroft FYI, unfortunately its required

My buddy had been trying to add an additional one on his order from Ashcroft with no luck. Several emails, even with an order in. I'll try to ring then on Monday. Maybe some better luck getting a bunch of parts.

the place that surfaces the clutch should have a dowel pin puller and can reuse the pins. they aren't that expensive if you really need to remove the pins yourself

Some dowel pins have gotten that expensive. Always save them. the tranny to transfer case dowel is like $30, I was shocked.

Woah. Last time I bought these tapered pins I think they were a dollar a piece

The 3 pins that are in flywheel are still a buck or less from various places, if I need them.

TO and linkage on the way from Ashcroft. This was done via email since the site does not list the linkage.

Nice , you are going to need legit red threadlocker to do the flywheel bolts and a big torque wrench. Just jam the flywheel with metal against the case to torque them

Great to know about the pins being so cheap. I am about to mate my LT230 to the R380 and I only have the ring dowel. Getting the other two (FRC5594 dowel & 571134 dowel) is quite expensive. Where were you looking? I will check that place too! I can't seem to find anything under $25 shipped...for two little dowels...
