Ecu mounts directly to bulkhead as suggested/pictured in Cummins installation manual. I use 1/4 20 rivnuts. Several pictures of my installs here and on other forums.
Grid relay and fan relay I mount under left fender overhang.
Currently working on a module that will allow Cummins canbus architecture to talk to / work with Land Rover tdci gauge pod.
Suggest anyone considering this engine download the install manual before purchasing. Answers a lot of the questions being asked. Manual came out after our beta program install. Answers all the questions I had back then, manual emerged as a best practices guide based on those first 25 engines. Y'all can find those pictures easier than me walking out and taking some more.

Appreciate the info. Always interested in hearing how everyone does it or if they have come up with different ways to organize things.

We tucked ECM under the front fender and grid relay in the battery box.

My air filter will be mounted on the firewall and connected to the snorkel

Wow, good idea. Will consider that for future projects but probably in a different angle.

Pics below are what made me consider using a Cummins Air box instead of an exposed filter.

You made me rethink some of the things I've been building just to stay busy lately. Ended up doing the rivnuts just like you said and scrapping bracket. Follows with keeping stuff simple and working. Rivnut the Solenoid too.
