PS belt adjustment - Need to remove Distributor?

Apparently need to loosen Bolt #11 to swing PS pump to remove belt. The pivot nut/bolt is unreachable behind the Distributor. Any way to avoid taking out the Distributor to get the new belt on this '93 3.9 NAS?

Only option I can see is to remove the pulley.

About to mount the new Water Pump and would like to take care of this belt before finalizing it.

You don't need to remove it. You actually don't need to remove any of these just loosen them.

The rear most one you can probably get away without touching, You may have to use a pry bar on the bracket not on the pump.

I have never touched that bolt when adjusting the power steer. It will pivot just fine. But I always need a pry bar. I typically loosen bolt #10, put a screwdriver, awl, whatever, in the slot of bracket 5, apply constant pressure to get belt tension, and tighten bolt #10 back down. Never pry as Napalm mentions, on any pump/alternator body. That said, if you ever do need to, never do it with a point source like a screwdriver, always do it with something wide to distribute the load. But again, don't even do that!!

Appreciate the input. Have tried to pry the #5 bracket at the bolt #10 against the support for the alternator. No go. There is some slight bend movement but it seems far from being able to get displacement to slip the old belt off and new belt on. The bolt #11 seems to be the crux of the problem but will continue examining.....

#4 bracket is the one that pivots, and should swing toward the engine to take the belt off.
