Besides wasting 3 days on our new Puma hood things are moving along pretty well. Nothing lined up on our new hood we actually had to cut it apart and reinstall all the hardware in the correct location. Definitely not a DIY project. Looks ok now and since I like our bed liner paint so much I decided to do the underside of the hood hoping to add a little protection and weight since the fiberglass is a little light.
Doors are on, front grille on and painted, bed is on and hooked up (wanted to add a dump piston but scraped that idea for now maybe this winter) still need to paint the bed liner.
Sent a few pieces out for powder coating - tailgate hinges and latch, the window roll cage that we extended. Originally the roof piece attached just at the back of the front doors which looks great on a 2 door but looked awkward on our 4 door. Welded up some new 2" pipe with a nipple on the end and presto looks like it should have come.
Finish painting next week, then on to the interior. Most of the wiring is done for the engine and most of the electrical is done. Still need to figure out my air cleaner and snorkel ;-)
