Pickup cab soft top?

I’m looking at converting to a soft top on my 110 pickup. I previously had a full length Exmoor tilt before I converted to the hard cab. Does anyone know if the forward section of the full hoop set will work, or are there any extra pieces I might need? Also, how does the rear panel attach to the bulkhead?

I’ve reached out to ZG @ RN but wanted to see if anyone else had any insight.

It’s either this or buy a Jeep Gladiator!

Thanks!

Here are a few pics of a pick up cab soft top that I have so you can see the attachment "system". Sorry the photos are not great, this is being stored in my attic...

This top hooks to the front windshield via a webbing strip (same as a series soft top), and is made to fit a rear hoop and the old style "rain gutters", which make up the corner structure for the top above the door openings.

Thanks for that! Exactly what I needed to know.

How do you like it? The idea of a convertible pickup truck sounds great, but is it in reality? I know it will never be as convenient as a Jeep, but are you generally happy with the setup?

The standard canvas sucks ass frankly. Flappy, loud , stretches, fades, you will get wet, sucks

Mohair/convertible top fabric is the only way to go

I don't mind it but I have never had to rely on a soft top Land Rover as my daily in all weather conditions.

Napalm is calling it like it is -- if I had to get somewhere spiffy and dry while it was raining, I would not take a soft top Land Rover Series or Defender. That being said, you can always wear a raincoat...

Need more info on "Mohair, which I think is a goat hair fabric(?). I have heard the term used by companies who make tops out of canvas.

Mohair is the equivalent of stayfast fabric in the US. Style at least. It's a non-stretching woven fabric You commonly would see on convertible tops on imported cars. All-wheel trims website explains everything

I saw my first All Wheel Trim Mohair top in person and they are super nice. Very similar to what modern convertibles use nowadays. The only problem is there is a 30 week lead time from AWT.
