Picked up a Bulkhead Repair jig at the Thrift store for only $10!!!!

I fabricated a "Bulkhead Restoration Jig" to make the laborious task of rebuilding the bulkhead a little easier by having it hanging, instead of on the ground.

I repurposed bed-frame angle iron from the thrift store, plus some bits of steel I had in the scrap pile. Much cheaper source of angle iron than steel service centers!

Nice! Wheels and all. I recognize most of those pieces. I’m guilty of picking up a couple bed frames being trashed for welding projects.

Bed frames are awesome salvage metal for fabricating things. I'm always looking out for them on the side of the road.
