I'm not sure what part of the ignition lock you are looking for but I believe this is the whole unit. I would double check before ordering.

Yeah, the one I bought was indeed for a 1994, not the auto 4.0, so thanks guys

Thinking outside the box makes me want to suggest looking at the 97 D1 auto ignition.

Could be a dead end, but knowing the way Land Rover tended to operate, definitely possible that they used the same part.

Update - bought the OEM part for cheap through a dealer in the south on Thursday, wrote to them several times and got a first response of "It will be here Monday" and then nothing until today. Wrote again and they said "oh we don't have it in stock and we can't get it." Said "your website said you had it in stock and also said that it was going to be there Monday" to which I got "oh well we don't pay attention to the website info."

I was going to lose my shit, but then realized a long-learned lesson that LR dealers are clowns and I shoulda just gone to RN. Which I then did post-refund, ordered the part and got a Fedex shipping notice 25 minutes later. Was a little more cost but so totally worth it.

In my experience Rovers North is as dependable as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. Others have their moments of success and failures.

Yup, they're great. I buy mostly on price, but didn't take into account immediate need this time around.. RN may not always be the cheapest but they also don't screw around when it comes to the follow-through.
