Please welcome Jim C, WoldD90 and pmatusov to our NAS-ROW team.
Jim C and WolD90 are D90 Source old timers and as that site has gone in a different direction we are bringing them over to help bring some of the old flavor here. They will be joining the moderator group.
Pmatsov will join us as an additional administrator, helping with "back office stuff" along with the day to day operations that Chris and I normally handle.
Chris and I thank them all for stepping up and look forward to their contributions.

I also have to say thanks for all you guys do! All of this community has been a huge part of my defender journey. And thank you for not changing the engine like the other place did!

(y)Congrats to the new admin's

On a side note - since defendersource has given up the old forum look, could this site use one of those old backgrounds for the header and the old colors for a border? I don't mind the sideview 110 drawing up top here but I felt the 90 four wheeling from the D-90 days really captured the vibe of the group.

The problem with changing color schemes and backgrounds is that you get into themes. These take a lot of time to setup and get working properly and there will always be some that like them and some that hate them.

DiscoWeb has a theme that I put many hours into but some people don't like it. I'm not sure that I want to go through all of the effort for NAS-ROW, at least not until we get a lot more traffic.

I don't think we'll ever end up on a baby barf-yellow theme like old D90.

Thanks for stepping up to the plate guys! Personally, I like the clean looks of this site.

Since we can anticipate more and more people coming to this site is it time to start the Series section again and see what happens? Since all I have is the Series I would add stuff as I could.

I would just post Series stuff in the Defender section. If there gets to be a lot of content they can always move it later. It'd be a shame to make this site like Expedition Portal where there are so many sub forums.

Totally understand. I do love how clean this site is and how smoothly it works (thanks for all the work!) I was just feeling with the change over at defendersource that it could be cool to have the old vibe look from D-90 but the modern running of this site (kind of like an LS or R2.8 swap into an one of our Defenders ;) )

BTW - I haven't been on Discoweb in a long time and just went there. I really like the look of that site with the smaller font and colors but can see how setting up a new scheme takes a lot more work. Good to see there is an LR3/4 section there - we have one so I'll have to visit there for some info now (y)
