Oil Filter? What's under your bonnet?

I need to replenish my supply of oil and fuel filters. I'm running a 300Tdi which uses the same oil filter as just about every LR motor an ERR3340. What brand are you running?

Fuel filter wise is it worth buying premium anything? Again what are you using?

I usually stick with Mahle. They make the piston of my dirt bike, it's tough. So, through a completely faulty leap of logic, I have decided the filters are good.

Genuine but not opposed to whatever filter. I always grab a couple when I put in an order to the usual vendors

I found a case of Bosch filters a few years ago on eBay and bought them. Seem to work fine & I change my Delo fully sythetic once a year or 10K miles.

I like the NAPA filter.
Cant recall the number but I think it's the NAPA Gold and its the bigger capacity filter.
And they're close to me.

AKA Wix. I use the 51515 on my D2. IIRC, that's the mid length in that diameter. There is one shorter, and one longer.

I am changing out all of my diesel fleet using Stanadyne fuel filters. 2 micron final filter. The reason is I wanted to know what the standard LR filtration filter was micron wise but could not find it so all out and in with the new system. Also wanted to add heater to the filter head.

Been using Purolator filters for a couple of years now, buy them by the case.

I only use the Genuine filters, but mostly out of convenience. I've put about 50k on my motor since the rebuild and need to do the valve covers. I'd be willing to be it looks like new when I pull off the valve covers.
