I'm trying to source a base for this. Does anyone have an extra base alying around. I've alway seen bits and pieces of this kit in newly imported trucks but never the whole set.

I got a hold of the jack, i just need the base. I prefer not to have to weld one up

What is the part number for this?

It is technically called a “pillar jack.” Probably NLA, but old ones are available on UK EBay. I’ve never seen one as galvanized and pretty as the picture above.

Yes, it seems to be they were supplied up to around 2005. The LR documentation calls them "upright jacks" as well as "Pillar jack". Bu there is very little info on these even searching with that terminology.

I have a full jack in my garage I would be willing to sell. If I split, it would not be of much use. I am in Denver area if interested.

They (KAJ500110, NTC7955) were included up to 2016, even though the Puma skinny jeans crowd didn't find much use for them. They're NLA but available by the pallet load as NTO in the UK. They come up for sale fairly regularly on this side too though. I think the only part you can buy new still is the ratchet handle, NRC6481.

I cant even fin much on it with your info. I know the easy solution is a highlift, but this is more compact and cheaper alternative for me.
I also like being different from everyone else i guess (aka hipster). I drive old Rhd landrovers, shoot AKs & milsurps, trappist beers, and would rather live in a third world country than suburbia.

There were a few for sale recently on the other forum. There's also one on ebay now. Don't know that I've seen a base sold alone though. I think you'll either have to wait to get lucky or fabricate one. I can give you dimensions from mine if needed.

As a tangential question, where is the default / factory storage position for these pillar jacks on a D110 Station Wagon (with no bulkhead)? Under the middle row seats?

My ‘83 110 has a cubby box over the left rear wheel similar to the seat box cubbies. The base goes there and the rest came with soft plastic black cover and ties down behind the inward facing bench on the left as well.

If you like this style of jack (and don’t have bumpers which preclude its use such as the NAS style rear one and your truck’s suspension is stock so it actually lifts the truck), Zack sells an adaptor for a hi-lift that has the round insert for the crossmember and front frame horns. It’s chinesium, but seems well made.

The pillar jacks, even if they aren't perfect, are one those things that stands out to me. They might be slow, but they're safer, lighter, and more compact than a Hi-Lift. What other vehicle comes from the factory with a high-lift type jack? It reinforces the idea that LR's engineers and designers of the time gave thought to actual utility and off-road use.
