Odyssey PC2150S ON SALE 10/13/19 LAST DAY

I don't know where else to put this, but I thought others looking may want to know. I have run the PC2150 for nearly 15 years now and it is by far the best battery I have owned (and I know everyone has their opinion on batteries) but this is an AGM, fully sealed, monster 82lb battery. Basically using one of these is like running 2 other batteries.

Absolutely no affiliation other than I am try and find the best bang for the buck when I purchase. This is a good price, particularly as it includes shipping. The link above is for the screw terminals as that is what I prefer--but they have studs (or both) as well.

MADE IN THE USA. That is important to me when it comes to auto batteries.

Best battery in the world. I laugh every time I see people build these ridiculously complicated dual-battery setups. Forget all that crap. All you need is one PC2150.

Bummed to have missed this. It's still a decent price at $400.

I built my own tie-down out of a piece of flat bar stock and some threaded rod and some nuts.

Rolling the dice a little here. Warranty is only good for installation with HVAC or whatever Carrier includes with, so assume Carrier will NOT honor it.

Looks like odyssey makes for carrier (not confirmed), specs seem to be duplicate. seller has 100% positive feedback.

I ordered one today as well. This is obviously a private label Odyssey; specs and case are identical and it even ships with an Odyssey/Enersys manual.

I know I'm taking a chance since Enersys doesn't warranty eBay sales, but I figured at just a bit over half price the risk is worth it. If it arrives new and fully charged it should be good.

Yea, I always have one of those lithium battery jump start packs with me anyway; don't see much of a need for dual batteries in my case

I saw that on eBay, but the other deal, knowing exactly what I was getting with warranty was worth it. I was curious for sure!

Let us know how the ebay battery works out! For the Odyssey, the FED X man delivered it and it was obviously dropped with one of the top corners dented in (but not cracked nor leaking). I had to send it back. Fortunately, Batterymart was cool and it was no sweat. when I sent it back, they sent me a new one which I had 2 days later. Glad it was so easy--didn't need that stress in my life.

It arrived with no visible damage, and 100% charged (12.85 volts on the VOM).

It sure looks similar to the Odyssey--the only thing that I don't see is the manufacturer date--maybe it is on the side of yours. I know mine was August, 2019. Curious--when was yours? Might be on the front.
