I think this truck has been mentioned on here before, but I took a closer look at it the other day, and I’m sure it’s and old RSOV.

Port bought it in an interagency auction type thing, and brought it to Doug to fit up for their use. It is their runabout at the river dredging operation. 200Tdi is original. It does have the remains of the roll bar, but he put the roof on so they could take passengers and stuff while it rains.

Yea I posted a photo of this on Defendersource a while back and the consensus was that it's an RSOV. Gotta love the applied-with-a-roller paint job.

My wife and I made a trip up to Portland a few months ago and she said "it feels strange to go to Portland and not stop in at Doug's place". :) That used to be a must-do stop during the long refurb of the D-90.

I have those exact spot lights on the front of mine (trucks from France). Just caught my eye is all...

That is truly awesome. I hope someone hears about it and buys it when the Port puts it up for public auction. Who ended up buying the RSOV from public auction in CO a few years back? Did that go to SafariHP?
I stumbled upon that one in the wild sitting outside the police department in Golden, CO and couldn’t believe that one of the rarest, coolest rovers was just hanging outside getting snowed on, still in somewhat “active” duty.

That’s right, you’re the one who posted about it earlier.

I’ll check my archives, I might have a picture of it from before he put the roof on.

Lol, I saw that one too. Sent email to the Jeffco Sheriff about it, asking why it was stored outside. Their response was that it was waterproof. They weren't concerned at all since it was donated to them and they really had no use for it. Unfortunately Colorado law does not permit US military surplus vehicles to be registered for road use.
