The "Your Phone" app in Windows 10 allows you to remote your phone for text, pictures, calls, and phone apps. When I am at my desktop working, my phone never leaves the wireless charger puck. It's been a game changer for me. Replying to texts on a standard keyboard is way quicker for me than one my phone. Then again, I phone type with only one thumb and not two like my kids.

My iPhone 12 and MacBook work together, I can call, FaceTime and text from MacBook. Love it..

I’m pretty sure you’ve been able to do that with Apple devices for the past 10 years. I can definitely do that on my 2012 MacBook Air
