I had thought to keep this for my kids to use, or as a second body to have a variety of lenses going at one time. But the kids just aren't into it, and I'm not good enough to act like I'm from National Geographic.

The camera is in fine shape, well used, but clean and all working. I'd say good to excellent condition, not like new. The Sigma lens works fine, but shows it's use, and the fact that the newer gen lenses are quicker to focus, have VR, and are not as loud. I like that it is fairly fast, and it can focus down to about 2" away from the hood! The zoom is in excellent condition, and has served me well for many years. I've got a new gen replacement for this already, since we went on safari last year, I decided to go to 600mm. This lens does exactly what it should, it's just a bit slow to focus compared to new gen stuff, and the VR is effective, but not if you've been drinking.

Nikon D7000 = $260
Nikon 80-400mm; f/4.5-5.6D ED VR AF-D = $600
Sigma Sigma 17-70mm; f2.8-4.5 =$160

You pay shipping, but I'll supplement the cost a bit if it is higher than we expect once I get it packed up. I am using Adorama's used gear listings as a way of setting the pricing. I have caps, battery, charger, cases, original box for the body, etc...

Not sure why the pic of the zoom lens won't show. PM if interested, I do have pics of it.

Any interest? Make an offer. I'm putting it on CraigsList one more time before seeing what Adorama might give me for it. Can't give it away, but don't want it just sitting around.

Be interested to hear what Adorama give you. I bought a fantastic Canon lens from them that I don't need any more.

I went online and used their form to list the items I had. They emailed back that they would have someone call me about the items. Seems like they have a big enough operation going that they are serious about buying used equipment from all over the country. I'll let you know how it turns out.
