New ROW LHD D90 Owner in Utah

New to the forum and new to LR ownership.

Excited to have a D90 sitting in my driveway and have already started restoring and piecing together my hopefully finished vehicle (mostly already there but some finishing touches needed).

D90 - imported from Autology in Spain (buyer beware - restoration work was pretty good, but there was a LOT left to be desired. The frame was rusted out and there was super inconsistent usage of fasteners, but the chassis is beautifully redone and the 200TDI purs) by another buyer who gave up on the project overall. I think I lucked out on grabbing the D90 given all the information I've gotten from Tom at GBR, and looking forward to finishing the interior and MAYBE looking into an engine swap to eat up the mountain roads here.

Will be throwing some images onto member trucks soon but wanted to get into every nook and cranny to really clean it up.

Looking to connect with members in Utah and also will post up some parts for sale.

you have to be the 100th person to complain about them. It will be fun project tho if you have the coin! good luck

Luckily for me, the person before me quit on the project after putting the coin in to fix all the problems the D90 came with.

The engine is running well, but should be running an inspection on it in two weeks!

We should really develop a saying around a D90. Something along the lines of BOAT Bring Out Another Thousand. Congrats on your purchase and your excitement, hang onto that, there may be darker days. LOL! I have owned 3 90's and a 110(and a couple RRC's). Now, I keep it simple with my original LR addiction, my Series 2. Tom is a great guy. And yes I am here in the valley. You will find the "scene" here might be less active than other places. There are a lot of Status Defender owners in the valley. And they aren't traditional enthusiasts.

That kind of makes sense after seeing what I have in Tom's shop! But glad to see there seem to be dozens of us at least.

I am bracing for those darker days, but doing everything I can to push them off for as long as I can haha.
