Purchased unused NAS rollcage assembly about 20 years ago to convert hard top on my 1990 D-90 200tdi. Will this fit without major modification?

Without major mods? Yes. But you’ll need a bunch of little mods and I’m curious if you got all the parts. 1994, 95, and 95 cages all gave have minor detail differences. One of the biggest issues will be whether you have a complete cage including windshield header rail, door window sticks, underbody supports etc. Can you lay out all the parts and take some pix? We’ll be happy to walk you through it. There will be a good bit of drilling involved.

The underbody connections are the "business end" of this. Everybody wants "the look" but if its not connected to the frame then it will be the roll bar that will kill you. Is it the holy grail of roll cages - ie padded? If it not the padded version then you could still use a hardtop with the cage installed...

I added the full NAS style cage to my ROW 90 - it's a significant amount of work, including removing the bulkhead. To do it "right" you'll even want to replace body cappings, tub reinforcements to make the bulkhead smooth, and a bunch of other small stuff to do a nice job. The only thing you can't see here are the reinforcements that are at the rear of the tub.

Safety Devices has been “upgrading“ their website for about 6 months, loosing data/pics that used to be available. (Great job, Lads!)
