NAS D110 #389 on fire!

Some if you know the storied history of this truck. I bought it after a engine fire - clearly a desirable truck preference but with a lot of it not correct. I’m slowly building it back up. I was able to purchase a low miles 97 NAS D90 drive train and interior which matches my desire to have the better engine and automatic. With that upgrade everything else is planned to be original to the 93. With help from a number of you(thx Jason, Matt++) I now have the correct grill, original NAS dash and heat/ac, the interior is coming along with a few parts still to source

Its amazing how nice a new or heavily refreshed and cleaned up chassis and drivetrain looks.

Makes me kinda embarrassed by my truck,,,,

All that beautiful engine work only to put a napa gold filter on it!
People seem to love those. I don’t have any preference on oil filters based on performance, but I generally try to use Genuine if I have one.

Awesome. Keep this thread going. Way back when I had the chance to buy a burned out NAS 110 and never pulled the trigger. So I am living a dream watching this.

Interesting it was a Copley truck, seems like it would have been "gone through" under their watch.

NAPA Gold Filters are among the best, most are made in NC...
