More likely than not but I'm bored w/ COVID19... I couldn't resist contacting the seller w/ a barrage of questions and requested photos. Not that it means much but the dealership is legit w/ positive ratings.

I just met a guy a few weeks ago who sold his NAS 110 a year ago.... for $45k...... I didn't have the heart to tell him. He loved the car, but wasn't much of a Rover freak, so he didn't really realize what he had, compared to something like the piece of junk I drove up in.

I don't know what condition it was in, but he had a nice bit of property, nice house, perfectly organized garage/shop, and a well built FJ Cruiser. He wasn't the type to have a rust bucket. The only good news for him is that he had picked it up for only $25k just 10 years ago. The vehicle was unadvertised, and he got it through incidental contact with some dude in Nevada who had a private jet and a number of supercars tucked into a hangar along with the 110.

The add is taken down now!

Certainly looked too good to be true but like your story above, ya never know. Guess I won't be getting any answers to my questions.

Worldwide has a “reputation” in some circles. I would go look personally if I were a buyer.

I don't know what that reputation is, but even its a shit show requiring big $$ to fix up. how much cheaper can a NAS 110 be?

the last handful i've sold (over the past 6 months) have been 100-120k for stock / clean examples with mileage under 70k.

lower / mid 80s is about right for something higher mileage, less clean, and especially with off road parts.

The real question is, how long will Defenders and many other "classics" hold their silly money values given the stock market, the pending slow down, and some people being in need to "liquidate" assets as things slow down and lay offs become more prevalent??

I mean we are already starting to see the spike in Unemployment in CO.

No better, no worse than an S&P index is my guess. If you paid $250k for a 2800 mile NAS 90 and only got 300 miles out of it before deciding to sell it you’re in a pickle.

just a reminder NAS defender values did not crash during 2008/2009.

i think that the crappy RoW imports will get crushed by this in the near term though.

Agreed, the NAS truck values should hold IMO.

The ROW market (crappy or otherwise) is pretty much flooded and was already losing value before this situation...most likely will get worse before it gets better.

Would love to trade a Camel Trophy 110 for a NAS 110 in comparable condition! Any takers?

I have the same black aftermarket door hinges on my 90 as that Worldwide NAS 110. Who made them?

Took a look and saw this recommendation for shipping: Schumacher Global Transport

If this company is a “recommendation” I wouldn’t believe anything they say.

My experience with Schumacher was horrendous and cost me money when considering using them to ship the Rangie back to US from Switzerland.

As you can tell, still totally pissed off with them.
