The big problem is that Adwest boxes are at least 1k shipped. Its just a tough pill to swallow when a "rebuild" should have no issues.

Since you are there in person... Have you asked what they are doing and why they can't make them reliable?

I asked them just f-n how they once managed to give me a ... RHD steering box for a D1, to no response.

I would be interested if anyone knows of a place that can rebuild them, otherwise I guess I will take a chance and see how long seal diy replacement lasts for.

My meridian box lasted a few years. Whatever the cheapest brand advanced auto sells replaced it. Still working just fine
