Low Oil Pressure at Idle

Thanks for the suggestions and offer @evilfij. After I change the sensor, which is probably wishful thinking, I think the next step will be to check the pick up tube and then the pump with maybe the ATF trick somewhere in between.

Slap some cross seals in when you pull the pan if you have any wetness at the back of the pan (95% plus “rear main” leaks are the cross seals).

I changed out the sensor for a new genuine one and haven't seen it light up at idle yet. I also chatted with my mechanic about it and he agreed 13psi was low, but he also said getting a good reading is apparently very tricky. His take was that if I don't hear any ticking, the genuine sensor isn't lighting up, and I'm using the 20W50 it shouldn't be a problem. He also recommended some marvel mystery oil. That all said if I'm feeling ambitious this fall I might take apart the oil pump to see what the surface of the cover looks like.
