LOF HD rear half shafts?

Anyone have any experience with these?

They seem to be prices very fair. I have experience with their clutches and brake kits. Very impressed with them so far?

Thanks

How would they fit all D90/110/130s? Doesn't specify which is odd. LOF is good stuff though, I assume they're nice

“We run a Defender with a 5.0 V8 Engine (450HP 550NM torque) with Limited slip differentials, and we have not broken a pair yet, well proven!”

So they tested one set?

I emailed them, here is their response...

Hi Jason

I have no personal experience of testing them with ARB lockers but I cannot see why not, they are like 1" diemeter!

Yes I use them on my Defstang, Mustang coyote 5.0 V8 powered defender!

Cheers

Smoking price. I'm running something similar (one piece- hardened HD) made by Keith Kruetzer @ Rovertraks back in the day

Thanks for posting this. I poked around their website and am going to give their 45% lighter clutch spring a shot.

Neil I think the lighter springs only work on the later spring assist type pedals. I have two sets of the LOF springs but havent tried them yet.

FYI they will also sell you a clutch tower with the spring installed if you email them

FYI I bought some HD front and rear axles from Erik at Lucky 8 that were not on their website. They are from an italian company and significantly cheaper than Ashcroft or GBR. I haven't broken anything yet with 8.25 XZLs and a DL/TT combo.

I bought those too, killer price. Didn't break anything with the 8.25s/f&r air locker combo on the last trip, though I didnt expect to on the trails we did.

To follow up with this, customer service was great, Luke contacted me back and shared that the material UK spec is 708M40/CFS11, which according to google and an engineer friend pretty good. For the price I decided to give them a shot and they arrived today. I took some comparison photos with a stock shaft. I have yet to install them.

Rover Tracks used to offer something similar solid or with rifling, I have often wandered about those as rifling makes them even stronger. I may consider a future purchase.

Following up on these....

Was anyone able to confirm that they would work with a Disco1 and if they are good enough to use with ARB's?
