Price seems suspect, but LOF is quality stuff, I wouldnt worry.
Pretty much getting ready to pull the trigger on the r380 gearbox from you. Just torn on the oem flywheel or theirs. I have bad clutch chatter and with over 150k idk if it's worth the risk to reuse the old one.

Depends on whether it has been resurfaced or not, I had mine done and it was fine afterwards. IIRC the workshop manual specs the minimum thickness

It's all about time. This is the daily driver. Pretty much when I start a project I try n have everything I can think of just incase something goes wrong.

That's fair. Ive personally never seen an out of spec TDI flywheel. Getting it broached is a same day operation. No machine shop required, old school auto parts stores can do it

Maybe not as much as you might think for shipping.
I had a full LT95 clutch set from them a year or so back for the 110 SW and it arrived fedex in 2 days, (despite the pandemic)
I think shipping cost was of the order of $70.
Similarly had a custom made Thor V8 flywheel machined by Rakeway over there for it and had it shipped.
Cost of delivery was similar for that.
Just need to find time to finish the wiring and ECU mapping now!
