LED reverse and rear fog from Bearmach

Anyone ever try out the Led replacement versions of the rectangular rear lights? Will be cutting in light holes on the new tub panels soon, and just wondering if they are just crappy replacements for the crappy original design. I have the round NAS style LED versions from Wipac, but do like the stock old style look at times. Lucky has them for 25 bones a piece on ebay.

*I can totally dig the DNW LED set they crafted up, just too many other things burning money in my pocket at this point.

I put LED bulbs in mine. Works fine.

Got five for $13 on Amazon. Thought they would crap out after a week. Been using them in park lights for 6 months now.

I think those are a grid of LEDs. The bulbs I got are nice and bright. The reverse light can actually be seen in both side mirrors.

I only found out because I was actually making my own. I wasn't aware there was already an option, and then a coworker got a set for his truck. Super disappointing output and build quality(the reverse was actually angled awkwardly and RTV'd in place)

I may actually make a set myself. I can print the housing and mock it up in ABS. If anyone cares to get the stock measurement, I don't have a set anymore as mine were both cracked and rusted out, so broke to remove. Looks like they were a bit tapered.

Email me tomorrow at my RN email address, I'll send you some of the LED panels that I ordered to do my own

We have the NAS fixtures with bulbs purchased from Super Bright Leds in them on the trail 90.
Zack didnt like the light output on the trail of those either.

So I used these LED pads which I had several of from fleaby. I put them into my interior dome lights in my 110 CSW and they are super bright. I put two together and plugged them into the light socket of my back up lights on the rear. They work rather well and have been in place for a couple years now. A benefit of the light guard is tat it keeps the crappy OEM light housing from deforming and the old bulb no longer heats up the plastic. 👍 uber cheap solution to dim back up lights

Have you seen the Perei? I have those on my truck, they look identical to the OEM TD5 style but LED, not like the Wipac/BoltOnBits etc

I added a wipac nas style fog light to my truck during the build. Someone does make an led version of the factory reverse and led lights.

Defenders Northwest is working on some upgrade aluminum LED reverse lights that have the same footprint. Haven't seen them in person yet.

I was waiting on those (Defender NW) but same as you haven't seen them yet.. my stock ones look like crap, but maybe i'll just stick in LED bulbs for the time being.

I've had the rear wipac LED fog on my truck since I built it. But only put one on. Well, the non fog light side of my truck is getting repaired right now and I was fortunately "forced" to get a second one. Going with the MUD version would have looked weird but the MUD lights look better.

Mud version = Perei = OEM Land Rover

"Do not confuse our LED lamps with crude and cheaper LED lamps widely available. Our lamps are made by the same manufacturer that supplies Land Rover with its Original Equipment (OE) LED lamps. All of our Defender LED lamps carry the E-mark seal of European approval and are backed by a no quibble two year guarantee."
