Floating through IG or FB I saw this. Looks like an Evoque… but someone got in the way.

Well, from my corner of the world, looks like this Range Rover got a hood ornament.

Mercedes tried off roading across someone's front yard, went airborne and landed on the Range Rover.

I totally agree - these are terrible. But where is the line? If you’ve got a 100% original rover rusting away in a field, we would all agree: it’s great - only needs a little TLC - that’s called patina. But these guys with their terrible taste have these rovers running and doing important things (ferrying kids to the beach).

I caught myself a couple of years ago when some guy with loud pipes on a dodge charger flew past. My initial reaction was, “what a dumbass.” But somehow, I realized, we are the same dumbasses. He just has a different taste in vehicles than I do.

Just a thought. Keep posting terrible Land Rovers.

Pretty amazing craftsman. Love the bowties across the split in the wood reefer door fascia.
Not sure it cleansed my soul. Looks like it could cleanse my bank account tho. Not sure anything can restore my faith in humanity. Lol.
The Monarch build looks well on its way to being a Gay Pride Day parade float, which is cool, but what about the other 364 days of the year?

Yes we are the same dumbasses, but some dumbasses are more anti-social than others. Lol.

The Sonoran Rovers build certainly had everything plus the kitchen sink thrown at it. It's not bad work but largely conventional cabinetry from a fully equipped shop. I built custom kitchens for a few years until I realized that it was all about boxes (yes, I built curved cabinets too). The dutchmen - aka the bow ties - were largely superfluous as the door was non-structural and attached to the refer door just for show. I would have liked to see some input from the client regardless of their lack of technical skill so that I could feel the interior was personal to them. Just a touch here or there. What would have really impressed me was if the pull out sink and cook top could have been used inside as well. Maybe it could and I didn't realize it.

I tend toward less dedicated camping and travel set-ups that allow for a more serendipitous approach to travel but I have to admit that the final product does give a calming effect and sets the mind to wanderlust and distant lands. Thanks for the link.

As for the other stuff in this thread (I know next to nothing about Land Rovers)... I shudder.
